This Whole Foods location is huge! They have everything—from fresh produce, fish, meat, cheese, and bakery items to cooked food. They even have sushi, pizza, wraps, and home-cooked meals sold by the pound! Just a little pricey, though. 😅 I will come back if I can’t find anything from ShopRite.

This is the Whole Foods Market in Skillman, NJ. This store opened in August 21st , 2026. I'm pleased that we now have a Whole Foods store in the Hunterdon County and Somerset, NJ area. For me, everything about shopping here was a pleasant experience! I have to admit that I don't have all the details on the services that are offered at this store, but I would think that all of the shopping amenities that Whole Foods is known for would be present here. I like to drink green tea, especially the matcha variety. The brand that I look for is almost always available here, along with an incredible selection of so many other offerings from tea and coffee suppliers. There is plenty of parking, and access from nearby highways is easy. For me, I especially like this location because I do not have to face traffic congestion from a nearby sprawling corporate or business park complex. Nice !

Got into Whole Foods opening day. Packed with shoppers and lots of friendly knowledgeable staff. Had dinner form the hot and cold buffet. Great selection. Lots of options on the salad and olive bar. Had its own chicken and soup buffet. Wife loved the vegan and veggy options. Daughter loved the live potted plants section.

I’ve waited for this day my whole life. A day where a supermarket like no other would rise up and claim the throne from ShopRite. Whole Foods has ripped Montgomery out of the Stone Age of shopping and into the Golden one. Every product and facility is superior to that of ShopRite’s. Their checkout machines are nice and easy to navigate, as opposed to ShopRite’s, which scream at you for putting an item down too late. Their employees are friendly and enthusiastic and there are enough free samples alone to keep your family fed for a week. ShopRite, your reign of expired groceries and incompetent self-checkout stations is OVER. All hail Whole Foods.
